This exhibition entitled Smell you later: a parody of the decorative was presented at Noir Darkroom gallery. Smell you later: a parody of the decorative aimed to explore how floral patterns, bubbly forms and bright saturated colours are often dismissed as being unimportant, silly or decorative.

Through presenting brightly coloured shapes such as love hearts and flowers in an art space, Clark’s intention is to reclaim them as fine art symbols rather than as dismissable ‘girly’ and decorative clichés . This exhibition also parodies the decorative presentation of paintings through the obnoxiously large, bubble shaped and smelly frames. Each colour of faux fur in the floor work and each frame radiates a different pungent artificial smell. Viewers were encouraged to remove their shoes and walk across the floor work.
