Evangeline Clark is a Melbourne-based artist. Clark’s practice explores the embodiment of colour, joy and new expressions of 'girlhood' in art, focusing on using painting-sculptures to challenge the dismissal of feminine-like aesthetic.

Clark graduated from Victorian College of the Arts in 2018 and majored in Drawing and Printmaking. In 2019, she completed a three month residency in the Netherlands where she presented her first solo exhibition. Upon returning to Australia, she participated in multiple solo and group exhibitions at galleries such as Counihan Gallery, Front Left Gallery, First Site, SOL Gallery, Alternating Current Art Space, Brunswick Street Gallery and Noir Darkroom Gallery. In addition to exhibiting, Clark has also completed a residency with School House Studios, and a mentorship program with Trocadero Art Space. Most recently, Clark has embarked to Germany to complete her Freie Kunst Meisterschüler degree at Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig (University of Fine Arts Braunschweig).
